Hello, future member!
This is just a quick note to give you an idea about what No-Duh.com is all about.
First of all, you will notice you have access to browse a few of our forums. Until you sign up as a member, you will be unable to post. Also, when you sign up, you will have access to additional forums! In fact, as your account accrues posts, you may discover that other forums become visible to you.
There are a few ground rules for this website:
- Do not post porn. Posting porn will result in the banning of your account or IP address.
- Please follow the general guidelines of the site. Be conscious of where you are posting, and respect the organization of topics.
- Your account is subject to gaining or losing karma. Based on what the user community thinks of you, your account may be subject to removal by the user majority. This mechanism exists for keeping the community idiot-free. Upon reaching a certain number of posts, you too will have access to modify other users' karma! Please note that it is commonplace for your karma to become quickly negative upon joining the site. Don't be offended, though--it happened to the best of us. Just keep plugging along, and eventually you'll likely win the favor of our many jaded members.
Additionally, some of you may be wondering how to post images on this website. No-Duh.com does not support uploading of images, so what we recommend (and what many of our members do) is to open a PhotoBucket account (
http://www.photobucket.com), upload your images there, and link to them here!
That's basically all you need to know. Take a look around--see if the site is for you. If you feel like you would like to be a part of this great community, please sign up! We'd love to have you.
And one last thing... don't forget to edit your user profile once you sign up. Not only can you add your own personal touch, but there are a lot of different settings you can choose from that will modify forum layout and functionality to your preferences!
